 Year after year the king of fruits' always flaunts its variety and demand in style. Intense and fierce auctioning goes on at these mango depots which governs the price of this rich fruit daily. And be assured just like the petrol hike the mangoes this season too will pinch pockets.

When the foundation itself is built around the principles of aesthetics, it does not matter how old the brick laden structure may be, it is bound to look beautiful. The intricacy of these artistic pillars can be well compared with the famous Spanish architect, Antonio Gaudi's work.

Fishy Nook

The well fed fisher- women very comfortably making sales of the staple food for the 'bongs'. In one of the recent hindi flicks, a Bengali gentleman mentions that- "a man is judged  from the way he selects the fish for the house". An evening spent with rotating cups and saucers. Drinking tea, which otherwise is a mature adult habit and is usually forbidden for kids in this case sanctions the freedom to enjoy the familiar cutlery wherein the beverage is replaced with happy young souls making crazy circles.

Clash of ornate and colonial

A solid peak of decorated pyramid like structure which happens to be the top of a Hindu temple and in the backdrop is the town clock from the British Raj. The stark contrast dosn't seem very opposing in today's era but when this extreme combination is in your face you do start identifying the dissimilarities.

Meet Lilly(s)

Gazing at this enormous bed of gazillion Lillis made me want to change my profession to a  horticulturalist very desperately. Am not sure what it takes to be in this profession but being around this sea of cooling white-ness is very inviting and tempting. I also began imagining an aerial view of this lush combination of white and green, and what a unique spot it would make on a topography map.
